THE PRACTICE WILL BE CLOSED FRIDAY 29TH MARCH & MONDAY 1ST APRIL FOR EASTER PUBLIC HOLIDAYS


ALL COLD/FLU, SORE THROAT AND GENERAL PAIN RELIEF MEDICATIONS CAN BE SUPPLIED AT ANY LOCAL PHARMACY QUOTING THE "PHARMACY FIRST" SCHEME AVAILABLE TO ALL PATIENTS FREE OF CHARGE.  PLEASE MAKE USE OF THIS FREE AND CONVENIENT SERVICE PRIOR TO MAKING A GP APPOINTMENT FOR THESE MINOR AILMENTS.

  REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CAN BE ORDER BY CALLING 0141 550 7970 AND PRESSING OPTION 2 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10.30AM AND 4PM ONLY                                                                                    

You can also obtain your repeat prescription in the following ways:    

  • By handing in your repeat script to the practice 
  • Posting your repeat slip to the practice with an SAE
  • Telephone Practice between 10-30 & 4pm
  • Arranging local pharmacy to deliver and uplift your prescriptions. Please note you are responsible for making this arrangement with the pharmacy not the practice. Please contact your pharmacy to advise them when you have placed a prescription request with the surgery. 

Prescription uplifted from practice require 48 hours

Prescriptions being uplifted by pharmacy require 48/72 hours

Please remember to plan ahead and make sure that you order in plenty of time  take into account weekends and public holidays. It is your responsibility to ensure that you do not run out of medicines

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
